Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to all food safety protocols
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed at all times
- Support the team during service hours by serving dishes promptly and accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery and high-quality presentation
- Follow health regulations and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Prior food service experience or restaurant experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and kitchen operations
