Freight Auditor - Temporary-Permanent - onsite - Mississauga, ON

To audit bills to ensure rate and billing accuracy. Handles customer disputes from billing discrepancies. Inspects freight to ensure shipments are correctly billed. Clear all bills on the Rate Review Board

Responsibilities:

- Audit bills for rate discrepancies, missing accessorials
- Respond to Customer disputes and work towards resolution
- Perform necessary rebills
- Perform pricing calculations
- Complete inspections for oversized freight
- Understand Pricing fundamentals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Clean criminal background
- College/University Degree or Equivalent
- Experience in the transportation services industry or a similar industry
- PC literate with experience in the use of Microsoft Office such as Outlook/Excel and Word, TMW, Freshdesk and BamKPI




- Ability to multitask
- Excellent written, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace while meeting deadlines caused by a high volume of work
- Work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Ability to interact tactfully and effectively with customers, and drivers occasionally in situations where relationships may be strained
