Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers, such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by sweeping floors, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support kitchen staff by restocking supplies and ensuring all tools and ingredients are readily available for meal preparation.
- Follow all food handling safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.




- Help with general hospitality duties like setting up dining areas or assisting servers during busy service times.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and working efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and maintaining hygiene standards in a commercial kitchen setting.
- Basic understanding of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Experience with food preparation or cooking tasks is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately and work well under pressure in a hospitality environment.
