- Sell current and pre-owned powersports vehicles (Bobcat, Husqvarna, Ariens) to obtain dealership profit, increase volume and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Relate objectives and planned activities to the General Manager daily and analyze and review performance to date.
- Examine and analyze actions continually to best manage time and plan more effectively.
- Keep abreast of technological changes in the powersports industry, including new products, features, accessories, and the benefits to customers.
- Recognize that business is built on customer satisfaction and work diligently toward that goal.
- Identify each client’s vehicle requirements by asking questions and listening.
- Demonstrate new powersport vehicles.
- Deliver new powersport vehicles to customers and ensure the customer understands the operating features, warranty conditions and all related documents to establish customer loyalty.
- Maintain an owner follow-up and prospect development system to encourage repeat referral and new business; keep log sheets of prospects and contacts.
- Acquaint customers with service department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of store operations.
- Prepare reports on all sales activities, including prospecting, follow-ups, sales presentations, new clients, repeat clients, etc.
- Deposit payments with the cashier immediately, and provide receipts.
- Accurately complete all appropriate paperwork related to sales in a timely manner.
- Attend all department meetings.
- Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures.
- Comply with required health and safety regulations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma.
- 1-2 years’ related sales experience with Dealertrack/PBS
- Knowledgeable with certain manufacturers (Bobcat, Ariens & Husqvarna)
- Broad understanding of powersports terminology and product knowledge.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
