Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a protected and hygienic environment for every patient
- Assist dentists during various procedures, including fillings, extractions, with precision and confidence
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Cleardent, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality




- Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions clearly and compassionately

Qualifications

- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care to facilitate effective communication
- Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures, infection control protocols, and sterilization techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while maintaining a lively, positive attitude
