Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman/woman Millwright to join our industrial maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical and electrical expertise, with a strong background in manufacturing environments. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment critical to our operations, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in schematics, PLCs, CMMS, and low voltage systems, along with excellent problem-solving and customer service skills. Responsibilities

- Install, align, and assemble machinery and equipment according to schematics and technical specifications
- Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using analysis skills and diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace defective components such as belts, bearings, gears, motors, and electrical wiring
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems for automation tasks
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS software
- Conduct inspections of machinery to identify potential issues before failure occurs
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and plant staff to ensure safety compliance and operational efficiency




- Assist in the installation of HVAC systems, boilers, or welding tasks as needed
- Follow safety protocols diligently to uphold a safe working environment for all team members

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Journeyman/woman Millwright or in industrial maintenance within manufacturing settings
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in schematics interpretation and troubleshooting techniques
- Electrical experience including working with PLCs, low voltage systems, and industrial electrician skills
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and analysis skills for diagnosing issues
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, welding processes, and boiler maintenance is preferred
- Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings fluently in English
- Excellent customer service attitude when interacting with team members and other departments
- Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery problems quickly and accurately
- Relevant certifications or licenses related to industrial electrician work or welding are advantageous

Pay: $50.00 per hour
