THE ROLE
We are currently hiring Journeyperson level FORMWORK CARPENTERS. Experience with both engineered forming systems, and the camlock forming system is important. Our team is expected to be highly engaged in safety, planning and continuous improvement. Willingness to work both in the Calgary surrounding area and outside the city for short-term projects is preferred for this role. LOA and/or camp and travel is included.

Responsibilities
- Construct and install concrete forms for various commercial structures, ensuring accuracy and stability.
- Construct grade beam, footings, walls, columns, cores and suspended slabs
- Erect scaffolding
- Install shoring
- Utilize hand and power tools to cut, shape,
and finish materials as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute carpentry tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety standards.
- Perform lifting and assist in the installation of rebar, and other structural embed components.
Qualifications
- Proficient in concrete forming and finishing techniques
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- Strong understanding of carpentry principles and practices
- Experience with blueprint reading and schematics
- Knowledge of rebar installation
- Valid Driver's license or means of transport to various project sites
- Construction safety certified
Job Types: Full time, Permanent
Pay: $34.00-$40.00 per hour
