Position Overview:

As a Caregiver/Personal Support Worker/Uncertified HHCA, Certified HHCA you will provide compassionate non-medical assistance and support to individuals who require help with activities of daily living (ADLs), companionship, and household tasks in their own homes. Vietnamese language mandatory Requirement.

Responsibilities and Duties :

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance, while respecting their dignity and privacy.

- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management under the direction of healthcare professionals or family members.

-Assist in Regular exercise, eg. walk etc. if needed.

- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for clients.

- Assist with transportation to medical appointments, errands, and social outings as needed.

-Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Manager with an approval of Client or his or her family member.

-Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly

-Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description





Qualifications and Requirements:

-Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English but Must Speak Vietnamese Language too.

-High school diploma or equivalent.

-HCA (Health Care Aide) certification or PSW certification considered an asset but not essential.

-Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or related fields preferred.

- Compassionate and empathetic

- Possession of a valid Manitoba Class 5F driver's license with a clean driving record preferred but not mandatory.

- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and assisting with transfers.

Working Conditions:

- Work is primarily performed in clients' homes in Winnipeg.

-Flexible scheduling may include Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, Weekends, and holidays to accommodate clients' needs.

Certificates, licenses and Security check

- Criminal Record Check (CRC)

- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)

- Adult Abuse Registry Check

-CPR Certificate preferred not essential

-First Aid Certificate preferred not essential

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
