We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our Preschool Room. This is a vibrant and dynamic environment suited for someone who is confident, organized, and deeply knowledgeable about working with children aged 3 to 5 years. While this position is primarily focused on preschool-aged children, flexibility and experience with other age groups - including infants, toddlers, kindergarten, and school-age children - is required to support team needs across the center.

About Us: We welcome children from 0 months to 12 years (daycare and out of school care) and pride ourselves on delivering child-centered, play-based learning programs that foster curiosity, creativity, and development in all areas.

Who We're Looking For: We are accepting applications from Level 2 ECE’s and Level 3 ECE’s with the ability to work effectively in the preschool setting and across other age groups when needed (infants, toddlers, kindergarten, and O.S.C.).

Responsibilities (Preschool Room Focus):

- Develop and implement engaging, play-based curriculum based on the FLIGHT framework
- Create a supportive and responsive environment that nurtures physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development
- Foster robust, respectful relationships with children, families, and team members




- Support children's independence through storytelling, music, open-ended art, and hands-on learning
- Monitor children's progress and provide regular feedback to families and supervisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning space
- Assist with daily routines including snack/lunch time, transitions, and rest periods
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture
- Cleaning of the child care room worked in and assisting with maintenance of the common area

Qualifications:

- Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 certification in Early Childhood Education (required)
- Experience working in a fast-paced preschool room
- Strong understanding and implementation of the FLIGHT curriculum
- Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hiring
- Vulnerable sector police clearance (dated within the last 6 months)
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Additional child care training or courses considered an asset
- Fluency in English is a must
