Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Staff to join our Chinese buffet restaurant team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with basic food preparation, kitchen duties, and maintaining a clean and organized work setting. Cooking experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and portion ingredients such as vegetables, meat, seafood, and sauces according to restaurant standards
- Assist with cooking and preparing Chinese dishes for the buffet
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely
- Set up and replenish buffet food as needed
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas
- Store and label food properly and help monitor food freshness
- Assist with receiving and organizing food supplies




- Support cooks and other kitchen staff during busy periods
- Perform other general kitchen duties as required

Qualifications

- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred
- Basic food preparation skills are required
- Cooking experience or Chinese cuisine experience is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding kitchen tasks
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset
