Our client, a growing food manufacturing company, is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to build an accounting function from the ground up and play a pivotal role in the success of a new business line with a major first customer. Responsibilities:

- Manage full-cycle accounting, including AR, AP, bank transactions, and year-end preparations.
- Establish and set up the new accounting office, including non-accounting tasks like setting up vendor accounts.
- Work independently to oversee day-to-day accounting operations.




- Collaborate with production personnel and external accountants as needed.
- Be flexible and willing to take on various tasks, adapting to the evolving needs of a new company.
- Potentially provide backfill support for other accounting functions during slower periods.

Qualifications:

- A rooted senior accountant with full-cycle accounting experience
- Ability to wear many hats and possess a "bigger picture" mindset
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a significant asset
- CPA designation is not required, but working towards one is key for future growth opportunities
- Adaptable, proactive, and willing to take initiative in a dynamic environment.
