We are looking for a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team.

Position Summary

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of food products to our customers.

This is a full-time position working Monday through Thursday, with early-morning start times and 40+ hours per week.

Any applicable overtime is paid after 40 hours.

Start times are generally 5:30 AM or 6:30 AM, depending on the day's delivery route and workload.

This position requires someone who is dependable, punctual, physically capable, and comfortable working independently throughout the day.

- Early-morning availability is required
- No regular Friday shifts
- No regular weekend shifts

Responsibilities

- Safely and efficiently operate company delivery vehicles
- Deliver food products to restaurants and other customers according to assigned routes
- Load and unload products at customer locations
- Verify orders and quantities before and during delivery




- Ensure products are handled properly and safely throughout transportation
- Maintain the security and integrity of cargo during transit
- Obtain signatures and delivery confirmations when required
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, customers, and management
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
- Follow all transportation regulations, safety requirements, and company policies
- Perform routine pre-trip and vehicle inspections
- Immediately report vehicle problems, accidents, damages, or delivery issues
- Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the company vehicle
- Assist with warehouse duties, loading, and order preparation when required

Physical Requirements

This is a physical delivery position. Candidates must be comfortable with:

- Regularly lifting and carrying cases of food products
- Loading and unloading throughout the workday
- Using a hand truck, pallet jack, and other delivery equipment
- Entering and exiting the delivery vehicle frequently
- Working in different weather conditions
- Working around refrigerated and frozen food products
- Performing physical work for extended periods

Qualifications

Previous delivery experience is required.

The ideal candidate will have:





- Valid driver's licence appropriate for the company vehicle
- Good driving record
- Proven experience in commercial delivery, food distribution, freight delivery, or a similar role
- Experience loading and unloading commercial vehicles
- Ability to safely operate a pallet jack and other material-handling equipment
- Forklift experience is considered an asset
- Good understanding of transportation and road safety regulations
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to follow delivery routes and schedules efficiently
- Professional attitude when dealing with customers
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently
- Basic automotive or mechanical knowledge is considered an asset
