VanMeer Farms Inc. is a family-owned cash crop and custom farming business located in Norfolk County, Ontario. We are currently seeking a dependable, responsible, and motivated individual to join our team as a Full time Farm Labourer / Equipment Operator.

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working in agriculture, has experience operating farm equipment, and takes pride in maintaining and repairing machinery.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Operate tractors, buggies, trucks, and other farm equipment

· Assist with planting, spraying, harvesting, and other field operations

· Operate equipment safely and efficiently

· Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections of farm machinery

· Diagnose and repair mechanical issues and equipment breakdowns

· Assist with general mechanical repairs and maintenance

· Assist with general farm maintenance and repairs





· Operate farm machinery and equipment, as required

· Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

· Perform other general farm duties as assigned

Requirements

· Previous agricultural or farm experience is an asset

· Ability to perform physically demanding work

· Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

· Reliable, responsible, and hardworking

· Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and overtime during busy seasons

· Good teamwork and communication skills

· Valid driver's licence is an asset

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
