Kodiak Snow Removal is a multi-service landscaping and snow removal company in Carp, ON. We are currently seeking a skilled and experiencedHeavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, working on Farm Tractors, mostly John Deere Series and Snow Removal Equipment.

Scope of Work:

- Diagnose, repair and maintenance on heavy equipment
- Diagnostic testing and troubleshoot Hydraulics and Electrical issues.
- Perform heavy equipment repairs and maintenance tasks of various degrees.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and identify any potential issues or malfunctions
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.

Requirements:

- Ability to weld/Mig
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of related experience.
- Experience as an automotive mechanic or technician.
- Experience with Electrical and Hydraulic systems.




- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid class G driver's licence with clean driving record.
- Able to operate heavy experience, preferred.

Schedule:

- Full time - Year round
- Must be available to work any day of the week, with flexible schedule, during snowfalls.

Notes

- Must be able to commute to the shop in Carp (there are no bus routes)
