First Connections is looking to hire a BI for classroom-based ABA programs with young children diagnosed with ASD. We are looking for candidates who are fun and high energy, and enjoy engaging in play with young children!

Our program is intensive and very typical of an early ABA program consisting of teaching many skills such as imitation, following instructions, language development and social skills, as well as toilet training. Training will be provided by a Board Certified Behaviour Consultant.

Current positions:

1. The part-time position is 13.75 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 11:40am-2:25pm at our FD Sinclair Location (7480 128 street, Surrey). Hiring immediately with a start date in September 2026, and position until March 2027.

2. The casual/on-call position is Monday to Friday, 13.75-26.25 hours per week, from 8:40am-11:25am and/or 11:40am-2:25pm and/or 8:40am-2:25pm. Locations are FD Sinclair (7480 128 street, Surrey) or Frost Road (8606 162 street, Surrey). Hiring ongoing.

Compensation:

Starting pay is $18.25 per hour.

Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience):





- A minimum of 1 year ABA experience preferred but not required
- Able to provide criminal record check (within last 12 months)
- Desire to make a difference in a child's life
- Have great fondness for kids and outstanding passion for his/her job
- Compassionate and patient personality
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Accurate data taking skills and experience with discrete trial training
- Open for new learning and suggestions; a team player
- Strong creativity and great play skills
- Have own transportation
- Reliable, patient and consistent
- At least 19 yrs old
- Willing to commit for 1 year
- Fluent in English
- Education: College/University preferred
