As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Commercial Driver (DZ license) to support our operations and ensure timely, safe, and efficient delivery of our products.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Commercial Driver (DZ license) to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely delivery of ice products while maintaining high standards of safety, service, and communication.

This role requires operating a 26 foot truck. We use a Freightliner M2 Straight Truck (DZ license).

This is a physically active role that requires drivers to regularly assist with loading and unloading ice products, in addition to driving and customer service responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating a commercial vehicle, performing physical work, and interacting professionally with customers.

Schedule & Compensation:

- Pay: $25.50 per hour
- Schedule: Friday to Tuesday. Requires flexibility with start times. A schedule will be posted two weeks in advance, so you will have notice of upcoming shifts and planning time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, verify delivery paperwork,



and conduct pre-trip safety inspections
- Deliver ice products using effective routes, unload orders, and accurately complete delivery documentation
- Provide professional and courteous customer service while maintaining clear communication with dispatchers and shift managers
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations, ensuring secure handling of products during loading and delivery
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, report any issues, and support team operations as needed, including other assigned duties

Qualifications:

- Must possess and be able to maintain a valid Ontario DZ Driver’s License
- Minimum 3 years of commercial DZ truck driving experience
- Provide a recent and clean driving record (no major violations) and a CVOR driver abstract (no losses within the past 3 years); must pass ongoing driver record checks
- Must complete an insurance driver profile questionnaire and meet insurance approval requirements
- Ability to consistently lift or move up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
