Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist with a minimum of five years of experience to join our manufacturing team on steady day shifts. This role is essential for operating and maintaining CNC milling machines with precision, ensuring high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, extensive knowledge of CNC programming, and proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. This position offers an excellent chance for experienced machinists committed to manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement.

Duties

- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Program CNC machines using Work NC , Powermill and other relevant software to produce complex components.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models created in SolidWorks or similar CAD software to determine machining requirements.
- Perform routine inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Adjust machine parameters as needed to optimize machining processes while maintaining safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to lean manufacturing principles.
- Assist with troubleshooting machine issues, performing basic repairs or coordinating with maintenance teams.
- Support assembly processes when required, utilizing power tools and welding techniques as necessary.
- Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)



and forklift operation when moving materials.

Skills

- Extensive experience operating CNC l CNC milling machines with a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in CNC programming
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
- Knowledge of machining processes including turning, milling, drilling, and threading.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Skilled in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and hand tools for assembly or repair tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently within lean manufacturing environments while maintaining high quality standards.
- Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances.
- Experience operating forklifts safely in a manufacturing setting.
