Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Gas Fitter specializing in Generator Installations to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and effective installation, maintenance, and repair of gas-powered generators across various sites. Your expertise will ensure that all installations meet safety standards, local codes, and customer expectations. Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and troubleshoot gas-powered generators in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams to ensure precise installation
- Conduct mechanical work including welding, heavy lifting, and use of hand tools and power tools to assemble generator components
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on generator systems to optimize performance
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, provide technical advice, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Follow all safety protocols during installation and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or hazards




- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system configurations for future reference

Requirements

- Valid license as a Gas Fitter with specialization in generator installations
- Proven experience with welding, electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and schematics interpretation
- Strong knowledge of Caterpillar generators or similar brands is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair or mechanic work is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy equipment safely and operate various power tools efficiently
- Familiarity with customer service principles to effectively communicate with clients
- Basic understanding of sales processes related to equipment upgrades or system replacements
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in automotive repair or heavy machinery maintenance
