Responsibilities

- Prepare fresh sandwiches and salads according to customer preferences, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Manage food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Upsell additional menu items or upgrades to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in accordance with sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities





Requirements

- Previous food preparation or food service experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive training!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus; strong basic math skills are essential for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining environment
- Experience in restaurant or food industry roles is advantageous; serving or cashiering experience is highly valued
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Willingness to learn new skills such as upselling techniques and kitchen operations

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
