Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support in a medical office setting, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care.

Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner

- Ability to work in fast paced office with multiple physicians

- Ability to multi task

- Maintain and practice privacy

- Assist physician's in patient care, when requested

- Attention to detail is a must

- Ability to be prompt, eager and willing to work
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately and securely
- Assist with invoicing and insurance claims processing
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists as needed
- Perform general office tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry

Skills:




- Proficiency in medical office procedures and administrative tasks
- Knowledge of medical terminology for effective communication with healthcare providers
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (Accuro would be an asset)
- Robust organizational skills to manage office operations effectively
- Ability to operate office equipment and phone systems efficiently

- Secondary School (required)
