Otis Excavating is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our heavy equipment maintenance team. This is a full time, in-shop position based in Calgary.

Key Responsibilities:

- Enter and maintain equipment and service information in HCSS Equipment360
- Create, update, and manage work orders
- Order parts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Coordinate parts pickups and deliveries
- Prepare basic invoices and maintain filing systems
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date service and maintenance records
- Schedule and coordinate equipment repairs and service activities with shop personnel
- Provide administrative support to the service department as required

Qualifications:

- Previous experience using HCSS Equipment360 is required
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel




- Previous/current experience in the heavy equipment and/or heavy truck industry
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation (shop location is not accessible by public transit)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of heavy equipment and commercial trucks is considered an asset
