Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial electrical systems, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics, and perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical components. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including renovation, construction, and automation systems. The Journeyperson Electrician will ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes, contributing to the efficient operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities

- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical projects
- Work with low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and automation equipment
- Perform maintenance on existing electrical infrastructure, including renovation and upgrades
- Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or facility modifications
- Ensure all work adheres to electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies
- Assist in diagnosing electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools




- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical hazards or system failures
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and record-keeping purposes

Requirements

- Valid Journeyperson Electrician certification or license
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and automation technology
- Experience in construction, renovation projects, or maintenance person tasks related to electrical work is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently using schematics and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety standards and continuous learning in the electrical field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42.00-$50.00 per hour
