Demand Planner & Inventory Analyst
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner & Inventory Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will support demand planning, inventory optimization, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration to help ensure strong product availability, efficient inventory levels, and continuous improvement across our supply chain operations.
What You’ll Do
· Analyze demand patterns, inventory levels, and historical data to help develop accurate forecasts and replenishment recommendations.
· Partner with Supply Chain leadership and internal stakeholders to optimize inventory investment, improve product availability, and support operational targets.
· Maintain an up-to-date overview of promotions, marketing plans, current product launches, and other business activities that may impact demand and supply planning.
· Review SKU-level performance and forecast accuracy, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
· Monitor overstocks, slow movers, and potential stock-outs, and recommend practical corrective actions such as promotional support, inventory adjustments, or discontinuation opportunities.
· Adjust system-generated and manual forecasts as needed, ensuring alignment with required material dates and business priorities.
· Track and report key demand and supply planning KPIs, including stock availability, stock coverage, and forecast accuracy.
· Contribute to supplier performance evaluations and support the development of effective supply chain processes and standard operating procedures.
· Participate in the S&OP; process and escalate conflicting or missing inputs to support timely and effective decision-making.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand root causes of forecasting variances and identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy.
· Support process improvement, inventory control, and operational alignment projects through analysis, insight, and concrete recommendations.
What We’re Looking For
· 1-3 years of overall experience in logistics, distribution, supply chain, or a related environment.
· 2+ years of experience in forecasting, planning, purchasing, or a similar function.
· Strong Excel skills, including comfort working with and manipulating data.
· Experience in the consumer goods industry; manufacturing experience is an asset.
· Bilingual communication skills, written and spoken.
· Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to manage priorities independently, multitask effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Cooperative mindset with the ability to work well with interdisciplinary teams.
· Understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and forecast accuracy concepts.
