Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced English and Math instructor to join our team. Availability after school hours (3:00 PM – 6:30/7:00PM) on Monday to Friday.
Our learning center provides high-quality academic enrichment and tutoring for students in elementary and secondary school.
Responsibilities:
- Teach English reading and writing to high school level students
- Teach Math to students (K–Grade 12)
- Deliver engaging lessons that build vocabulary, comprehension, grammar, and essay writing skills
- Prepare students for standardized tests such as SAT and SSAT (experience preferred)
- Provide detailed feedback to support student growth and confidence.
- Communicate regularly with parents and the academic team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Education, Mathematics, or a related field (required).
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong academic writing and communication skills.
- Teaching or tutoring experience with high school students preferred.
- Familiarity with SAT, AP or IB curriculum is an asset.
- Relevant certificates (TESOL, CELTA, BC Teacher Certification, etc.) are a plus.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
