A career in Capital Markets Operations at National Bank means contributing your expertise to the evolution and execution of business strategies in financial markets and wealth management. Through your involvement in various processes related to SBL Risk and Control activities, you participate in the transformation of the Bank.

Your Role

- Develop knowledge of various tasks related to securities lending and borrowing settlement activities and listed derivative products.

- Learn the end-to-end process and contribute efficiency ideas
- Analyze and provide useful information for decision-making
- Analyze and resolve all settlement discrepancies (reconciliations)

- Demonstrate a strong aptitude for analysis.

- Support senior analysts in assisting the team
- Understand stakeholder needs, identify issues, and adapt your interventions to situations by offering quality service
- Collaborate with stakeholders

Your Team

Within the SBL Risk and Control sector, you will be part of the large securities lending and borrowing team of 35 colleagues, reporting to the director. Our team stands out for its dynamism, collaboration, agility, and empowerment. The team’s mandate is to ensure the pre and post trading is reflected properly in our system

Requirements

- Completed three-year university or college degree
- Knowledge of financial markets preferred




- Experience in transaction settlement preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight daily deadlines
- Organizational skills, speed, and accuracy in execution
- Initiative, autonomy, and versatility
- Ability to communicate with various partner
