Lazy Stuffs Inc. is a local, eco-friendly cleaning company serving Bedford, Halifax, Dartmouth and the wider HRM. We're hiring a couple of reliable part-time cleaners, with the possibility of additional casual work as we grow. You'll help keep homes, short-term rentals and commercial spaces genuinely spotless. Bringing the same careful, consistent clean to every space, every time. This isn't rushed, cut-corners work; if you take quiet pride in a job done properly, you'll fit right in here.

Typical Work Day

You'll travel to a few client sites across the HRM. Homes, Airbnb turnovers, move-out cleans, or offices, using the eco-friendly products and equipment we provide. Following our checklist, you'll dust, wipe, vacuum and sanitize each space to the same high standard, paying attention to the details most people miss: baseboards, corners, and the spots that make a space feel truly clean. Most cleans are done independently, and you'll manage your time between jobs. Work is part-time, roughly 15–20 hours a week, with flexible scheduling between 9am and 8pm, including some weekends.

Requirements

What's Most Important

Above all, we're looking for reliability and trustworthiness. People invite us into their homes and businesses, and we trust you to show up and do it right. You'll need an eye for detail, a friendly and respectful manner, and the ability to drive (ideally with your own car; if not, to pick up equipment and travel to each site). A clean criminal record is required, as a background check is part of our hiring process. Experience is welcome but not required. A good attitude and high standards matter more, and we provide full paid training.
