Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling specials and beverages to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Micros POS or other point-of-sale systems
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments swiftly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling surfaces in compliance with food safety standards




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver prompt service without sacrificing quality

Experience

- Prior food service experience in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or equivalent is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
- Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with serving in rapid-paced environments that demand excellent time management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude
- Previous kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
