Duties

- Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, rolls and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene in the kitchen
- Source fresh ingredients and ensure proper storage to uphold quality standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and presentation
- Educate team members on sushi techniques and presentation styles to foster skill development
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining consistency and quality across all dishes





Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine
- Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, knife skills, and ingredient handling
- Background in cooking, early childhood education, or classroom experience is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively environment
- Passion for teaching, mentoring team members, and sharing culinary knowledge
- Mandarin speaking is an asset
