Property Maintenance & Safety Attendant

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Property Maintenance & Safety Attendant to join our team in downtown Victoria.

This is an ideal prospect for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in the appearance and condition of a property, and is comfortable handling a variety of day-to-day maintenance, safety, and building support responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of buildings, common areas, grounds, and parking areas.
- Monitor properties for safety, security, maintenance, and cleanliness concerns and respond appropriately.
- Perform routine inspections of building areas and identify items requiring attention.
- Report maintenance, safety, or security concerns promptly to management.
- Complete minor maintenance and repair work.
- Assist with building access and other on-site operational requirements when needed.
- Remove garbage, debris, and abandoned materials as required.
- Assist with seasonal duties, including light snow removal, salting, window cleaning, and light groundskeeping.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, contractors, property managers, and members of the public.
- Support the property management team with other building-related duties as required.




- Complete inspection reports, maintenance records, incident reports, and other documentation as needed

What You’ll Bring

- Experience in property maintenance, building operations, cleaning, or a related field.
- A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable interacting with tenants and the public.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer and mobile device proficiency.
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
- First Aid and WHMIS certification are assets.

Compensation

$62,000–$65,000 per year
