Duties:
– Encourage and provide feedback to students in their writing endeavors
– Recognize and promote principles of good university-level writing
– Help students to understand the basic structures of essays and other written assignments
– Assist students in using citation styles such as APA, MLA, Chicago, and others
– and other relevant duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience:
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven essay-writing skills
– Available to attend training sessions (dates set collaboratively)
– Available to work 2-3 hour afternoon shifts in the library
– Comfortable working one-on-one or with small groups of students
– Minimum 2.5 GPA with a minimum of 30 credit hours of coursework completed




– Preference given to current Brandon University student; nearing completion of or completion of an undergraduate degree is required.
