I&D; Service Technician

Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and someone who enjoys seeing a project come together from start to finish? Skyline Exhibits Alberta is looking for an energetic and reliable I&D; (Installation & Dismantle) Service Technician to join our growing team!

From trade shows and corporate events to custom exhibit installations, no two days are exactly the same. You'll work both in our shop and on-site, helping deliver exceptional exhibit experiences for our clients.

What You'll Be Doing:

Trade Show Installation & Dismantle

- Install and dismantle trade show exhibits and displays on-site using hand tools and construction skills.
- Pack, repack, and prepare client materials for shipping.
- Pull, prep, package, and inspect exhibit components before they leave the warehouse. Operate Forklift as needed.
- Ensure exhibits are complete, in excellent condition, and ready to impress.
- Build, repair, and replace exhibit components as required.
- Work closely with Project Managers, clients, and fellow technicians to ensure every project runs smoothly.
- Communicate effectively on-site and help solve problems as they arise.
- Ensure all work meets Skyline's quality and safety standards.
- Pack materials carefully to prevent damage during transportation.

Shop & Warehouse Operations

- Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management and ensure shipping information is accurate and up to date.
- Support improvements to processes, tools, and systems that make our operations even better.

What You Bring to the Team:

We're looking for someone who is dependable, adaptable, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves!

You should have:

- A strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done.




- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- A valid passport and the ability to travel when required.
- General computer, email, and Microsoft Office skills.
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- The ability to safely perform physical work associated with moving, assembling, and dismantling exhibits. Use of hand tools regularly for installations,
- Trade show, event, installation, construction, or related experience is considered an asset—but we're also interested in people with the right attitude and willingness to learn!

Position Details

Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- Occasional evenings and weekends as required
- International Travel may occasionally be required, have passport or ability to get passport required.
- Forklift certification (a definite asset)

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
