Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will analyze datasets to support strategic decision-making, optimize business processes, and identify operational insights. This position involves transforming data into clear visual narratives and maintaining database structures to support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Oracle databases, R, and Python.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights across departments.
- Design and maintain databases using standard database design principles and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an Agile project management framework to deliver analytics solutions.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements or cost savings through systematic business analysis.
- Create process flow diagrams and database schemas using Visio to document project workflows.
- Track project progress, manage deliverables,



and ensure alignment with project milestones.
- Automate data workflows using VBA scripting and Bash (Unix shell) commands.

Qualifications and Skills

- Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI for creating data visualizations.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle databases, and either R or Python for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies and project management environments.
- Practical understanding of SDLC processes from requirement gathering through deployment.
- Experience in business analysis techniques to translate data findings into actionable recommendations.
- Knowledge of database design to optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
- Familiarity with VBA scripting for automating spreadsheet tasks.
- Knowledge of Bash (Unix shell) scripting for managing server-side data workflows.

Pay: $45,780.77-$111,572.26 per year
