Application Engineer – Job Description

Elliott-Matsuura Canada Inc. has two jobs opening; one in Toronto and another in the Montreal areas for Application Engineers.

Qualifications

- Technical Education: Apprenticeship, Technical College or University Degree
- Minimum Five (5) Years of CNC machining experience




- Working knowledge of “G” Code programming
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Yasnac, Heidenhain and Siemens controls necessary
- Knowledge of programming (turning and milling)
- Knowledge of machine set-up
- Knowledge of part processing and manufacturing engineering
- Knowledge of high-speed machining processes
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM
- Ability to travel throughout Canada and occasionally internationally
- Robust customer service orientation
- French language a requirement for the Montreal, Quebec position
