Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Inter-provincial Red Seal Automotive Technician or a Technician with 15 years experience or more to join our dynamic team as a Used Car Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently and accurately on a variety of vehicle makes and models. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with dealership experience or mechanic backgrounds to apply their expertise in a professional environment dedicated to quality service and customer satisfaction.

Duties

- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct repairs including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Assist with assembly and disassembly of vehicle components during repairs
- Follow safety protocols when handling heavy lifting equipment and hazardous materials
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used




- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and industry standards

Requirements

- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably with dealership background
- Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive repair procedures
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Physical strength to perform heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or working under vehicles
- Excellent customer service skills to assist clients professionally
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various vehicle systems
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred
- Certification from an accredited automotive program is a plus
