Food Service Cook – Mobile Food Cart

Doaba Junction Mobile Food Cart is seeking a reliable, motivated, and experienced Food Service Cook to join our growing team.

We specialize in popular Indian street-food items and are looking for a team member with hands-on experience preparing and serving high-quality food in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the day-to-day operation of our mobile food cart.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Prepare Golgappa / Pani Puri, Noodle Tikki Burgers, Fries Kulcha, and Samosa Poutine
- Prepare ingredients and maintain proper food portions
- Operate cooking and food-service equipment safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
- Follow food-safety and hygiene procedures at all times
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Handle busy service periods efficiently and accurately
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking duties
- Maintain consistent food quality and presentation

Qualifications & Experience

Previous experience preparing Indian street food is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience making:

- Golgappa / Pani Puri
- Kulcha
- Noodle Tikki Burger
- Samosa Poutine




- Fries and other Indian street-food items

Additional qualifications:

- Previous restaurant, food-service, or cooking experience
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling
- FOODSAFE certification is an asset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
