Job Summary
We are seeking experienced siding installer to join our construction team for a multi-family project in Trail, BC. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in siding installation, carpentry, and general construction. This role involves working on large-scale residential buildings, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a team workplace. Prior handyman experience and blueprint reading skills are highly valued to support project success.

Responsibilities

- Install various types of siding materials on multi-family residential buildings according to project specifications and blueprints
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and secure siding components
- Perform heavy lifting of siding panels and related materials to facilitate installation processes
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions to ensure accurate work execution
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and finish quality
- Assist with carpentry tasks as needed, including framing adjustments or minor repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized work site by managing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the project
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship

Skills





- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment used in siding installation
- Strong background in construction and carpentry with a focus on exterior cladding projects
- Experience with caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during installation tasks
- Capable of reading blueprints and technical drawings accurately to guide installation work
- Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various construction tasks
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment

- Reliable transportation and tools
- Ability to meet project schedules and quality standards
- Strong understanding of safety procedures onsite

Pay: $26.00-$40.00 per hour
