Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC and other machine tools to produce accurate, high-quality parts according to technical drawings and specifications.

Duties

- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, charts, and work orders.
- Determine the required machining operations and sequence of work.
- Measure and lay out workpieces according to specifications.
- Calculate dimensions, measurements, and tolerances to ensure accurate machining.
- Set up and operate CNC and other machine tools.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tooling, and equipment.
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, speeds, and feeds as required.
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspect finished workpieces to ensure accuracy, quality,



and compliance with specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Education

- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Technical or trade training in machining, manufacturing, or mechanical trades may be selected as an asset if available

Experience

- 1 to 3 years
- Machining, CNC operation, fabrication, manufacturing, mechanical work, or similar industrial experience

Pay: $36.92 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
