Registered Acupuncturist / TCM Practitioner – Integrative Health & Longevity Clinic
Location: Toronto
Position: Part-Time / Flexible
Compensation: Commission-Based
We are opening a current multidisciplinary clinic located within a private membership-based gym and are looking for a Registered Acupuncturist / Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner to join our team.
Our clinic focuses on:
Longevity,Health & Wellness and Aesthetics
We are specifically looking for a practitioner with a strong integrative Traditional Chinese Medicine approach, using acupuncture together with other TCM modalities when appropriate.
Clinical Focus
We are interested in practitioners who are comfortable incorporating:
- Acupuncture
- Traditional Chinese Medicine assessment and pattern differentiation
- Cupping
- Moxibustion
- Electro-acupuncture
- Herbal and tea-based support
- Traditional TCM preparations and topical products
- Cosmetic Acupuncture
- Lifestyle and wellness recommendations based on TCM principles
Cosmetic / facial acupuncture experience is considered a strong asset, particularly for practitioners interested in working across our aesthetics, wellness and longevity services.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
The practitioner will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive TCM consultations and assessments
- Identifying TCM patterns and developing individualized treatment plans
- Providing acupuncture treatments based on the client’s presentation and goals
- Incorporating cupping, moxibustion and electro-acupuncture when appropriate
- Providing appropriate TCM lifestyle, dietary and wellness recommendations
- Recommending herbs, teas or pre-made TCM products when within scope and clinically appropriate
- Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Supporting clients with pain, stress, sleep, digestion, recovery, energy, women’s health and general wellness concerns
- Providing cosmetic / facial acupuncture treatments when trained and qualified
- Supporting wellness, recovery and preventative-care programs within the clinic
- Educating clients about TCM principles and self-care strategies
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborating with physiotherapy, massage therapy, nutrition and other clinic practitioners
- Making appropriate internal referrals when another service may benefit the client
- Participating in multidisciplinary wellness programs and clinic initiatives when appropriate
We are particularly interested in a practitioner who looks at the whole client, rather than treating a single symptom in isolation.

Our goal is to allow the practitioner to focus primarily on assessment, treatment, patient education and continuity of care.
Requirements
Current and active CTCMPAO registration is mandatory.
Applicants must be registered and in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO).
We are unable to consider applicants who are not currently registered.

- Comfortable using multiple TCM modalities

- Interested in integrative, preventative and longevity-focused care
- Comfortable working independently
- Interested in multidisciplinary collaboration
- Motivated to develop a consistent long-term patient base
Compensation
This is a commission-based position.
