Haul Truck & Articulated Rock Truck Operator

Schedule: 7-on / 7-off rotation | 12-hour shifts (Rotating Days and Nights)

We are currently accepting applications for experienced Heavy Haul Truck Operators to support reclamation operations in the Fort McMurray area. This role involves the secure and efficient hauling of material within active mining worksites.

Responsibilities

- Operate various makes and models of heavy haul trucks and articulating rock trucks to transport materials to designated locations in an oil sands mine
- Conduct daily Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs) and actively identify workplace hazards.
- Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Support site operations as needed and perform other related duties as assigned
- Ensure compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies, operating standards, and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of experience operating 777, 785 haul trucks, and 40-ton articulated rock trucks in a mine, civil earthworks,



or construction setting
- Experience in earthworks and reclamation projects
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
- Valid CSTS, CSO or BSO certification
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Must reside within a 5-hour drive of Calgary, Edmonton, or Fort McMurray
