COSCO SHIPPING is one of the major ocean carriers in the world. COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Canada) Inc. (Montreal regional office) is located at 1 Avenue Holiday, Tour Quest, Suite 220, Pointe-Claire, QC H9R 5N3. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to drive revenue and strengthen our market presence.

This is a full time union excluded position based on 37.5 hours per week reporting to Senior Sales Manager in our Sales and Marketing Department.

Job Responsibilities

- Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing import/export client accounts across the Montreal region.
- Maintain positive, consistent, and proactive communication with accounts to ensure high retention and satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit weekly sales reports and pre-plans to the Senior Sales Manager every Friday
- Actively contribute to meeting and exceeding the annual sales budgets and strategic goals set by the company.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on industry trends, competitor activities, and structural market changes.
- Manage and update customer import/export freight rates and service contracts accurately.




- Represent the company at industry functions and networking events when required.

Skills/ Requirements

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
- 2-5 years of proven experience in sales, account management, or business development within the transportation industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Self-motivated, dependable and accountable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Suite (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
