Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Grass Cutting Technician to join our Commercial Division. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of landscape appearance across various commercial properties. Your expertise will ensure that outdoor spaces are well-manicured, healthy, and visually appealing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and machinery, and contribute to the beautification of commercial landscapes. Duties

- Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other hand and power tools to perform grass cutting, edging, trimming, and debris removal
- Maintain and service landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers and trailers to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, irrigation system checks, and soil preparation
- Assist with construction-related tasks such as installing new landscape features or repairing existing structures using hand tools and/or power tools
- Perform routine inspections of landscaped areas to identify issues related to horticulture health or landscape damage




- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities and report any hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly

Skills

- Proven experience with landscaping equipment including lawn mowers, leaf blowers, trimmers and edgers.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture principles, gardening techniques, and landscape maintenance practices
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machinery
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship in all tasks
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Valuable communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting maintenance needs

Pay: $19.25-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
