Overview
We are seeking an driven PM Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a quick-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to lead and influence developing line cooks, provide input on kitchen operations, and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests and the rest of the team. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is mandatory, along with a strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure proper food handling
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests or servers in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Support team members during busy service periods to ensure efficient operations
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, kitchen, or food service setting is mandatory
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Knowledge of food industry standards for safety, sanitation, and hygiene
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills combined with excellent communication abilities
