We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Maintenance Crew Member to join our team. This role involves operating commercial landscaping equipment, performing grounds maintenance, and supporting various landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate commercial landscaping equipment (zero-turn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, etc.)
- Perform equipment maintenance and upkeep
- Trash and debris removal
- Plant trees, shrubs, and garden beds
- Receive and unload plant materials
- Spread and grade soil, mulch, and aggregates
- Install sod
- Complete site clean-up
- Use hand tools and small equipment safely and effectively
- Complete required paperwork accurately
- Support overall lawn and landscape maintenance operations

Requirements:

- Availability for varied schedules, including Saturdays as needed




- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Knowledge of commercial mowing and general grounds maintenance practices
- Ability to lift 60+ lbs and walk 2+ miles daily
- Strong mechanical equipment maintenance knowledge
- Good organizational, leadership, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- 1+ year of grounds maintenance experience
- 1+ year of garden/planting experience
- Ontario G Driver’s License

Seasonal and Winter Employment Opportunities:

This position is primarily focused on the spring, summer, and fall landscape maintenance season. However, employees who demonstrate reliability, strong performance, and a positive attitude may be offered opportunities to continue working through the winter season. Winter work may include snow and ice management services, equipment maintenance, yard operations, and other seasonal duties based on operational needs and weather conditions. Availability of winter employment is not guaranteed but may provide the opportunity for year-round work for qualified team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
