About UNCOLT

UNCOLT is a recent women's fashion brand currently developing its first collection.

We're starting with one of the most common frustrations in women's clothing: pants that fit one part of the body but not another.

As part of our product-development process, we're looking for women in the Mississauga/GTA area to participate in a paid, in-person apparel fit-testing session and provide honest feedback on our first trouser samples.

What you'll do

During the session, you will:

- Try on multiple versions of the same trouser design
- Walk, sit and move naturally while wearing the samples
- Evaluate the fit around the waist, hips, seat, thighs and rise
- Comment on comfort, movement and overall appearance
- Compare different sample versions and tell us which you genuinely prefer
- Answer a few short questions about your experience with pants and sizing

There are no right or wrong answers. We're looking for honest feedback that can help us improve the product before production.

Who we're looking for

For this particular development round, our samples are being developed around approximately a women's Small–Medium / 28–30 inch natural waist range.

We're especially interested in hearing from women with different body proportions and different experiences with pants—including women who commonly experience issues such as:

- Waist gaps
- Pants fitting the waist but feeling tight through the hips or thighs
- Rise or crotch discomfort
- Pants frequently being too long or too short
- Fit changing significantly from one clothing brand to another

No modelling experience is required.

Your measurements and how the samples fit are much more important to us than your usual clothing size.

Session details

Location: GTA / Mississauga, Ontario - in person
Duration: Approximately 30–45 minutes




Compensation: $40 per completed session
Schedule: Sessions will be arranged with selected participants
Experience: None required

This is a product fit-testing session and not a photoshoot or modelling assignment. Participants will not be required to post about UNCOLT on social media.

Application questions

Because the samples are physical prototypes, we need a few measurements to determine which applicants are likely to fit this testing round.

Please be prepared to provide:

- Natural waist circumference
- Full hip/seat circumference
- Upper thigh circumference
- Height
- Usual pants size
- Common problems you experience when buying or wearing pants

Measurements can be provided in inches or centimetres.

Applicants will be selected based on the range of measurements and body proportions required for this particular product-development round.

Applying does not guarantee selection for a fit-testing session.

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 per week
