Responsibilities and Tasks

· Greet customers on arrival, and acknowledge their departure

· Socially pleasant - easy to talk to, can keep up conversation

· Proficient in merchandising

· Self motivated, skills to stay on task and keep busy.

· Respond to and handle customer inquiries, requests and concerns in a timely manner, over the phone and in person.

· Promote in-store promotions/ sale driven

· Participate product knowledge sessions as required.

· Complete retail basic tasks in an efficient and timely manner (e.g., pricing, cleaning.).

· Comply with company, store and department policies.

· Maintain a qualified appearance (hygiene, grooming).

· Complete other tasks as required and report to department supervisor/management.

Requirements and Competencies

· Interpersonal skills and customer-oriented.





· Effective written and oral communication skills.

· Basic math and typing skills.

· Possess adequate computer skills.

· Ability to work and thrive in a team environment

· Ability to adapt and cope with challenging and changing situations.

· Ability to consistently provide skilled customer service, including in situations of conflicts.

· Ability to complete retail tasks according to instructions and report to supervisor or managers.

· Positive attitude, good punctuality and strong work ethic

· Ability to work under little to no supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
