A Different Chapter. The Same Commitment to Exceptional Patient Care.
What if the next chapter of your nursing career gave you the opportunity to keep doing what you love—caring for patients and making a difference—while stepping into a more sustainable pace of practice?
We are looking for an experienced and mature Registered Nurse to join our busy dental anaesthesia practice in Southeast Oakville.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a nurse who has built a rewarding career in hospital, acute care, surgery, critical care, emergency or similarly demanding environments and is now considering what comes next. Perhaps you are not quite ready to retire, but you are ready to step away from the intensity of conventional full-time nursing without stepping away from nursing itself.
Here, your experience continues to matter. The role is clinically demanding, engaging, and rewarding, requiring solid judgment, confidence, professionalism and a wealth of hands-on experience—while offering a part-time daytime schedule that provides greater balance and flexibility.
It is, quite simply, an opportunity to keep doing meaningful work, just in a different way.
What We Offer
- Permanent, part-time position — three days per week
- Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
- Daytime hours only
- No evenings, nights, weekends or holidays
- Variable scheduling based on patient needs
- Full 8-hour days or half days
- A busy and clinically engaging practice
- A professional, supportive and collaborative team
- Meaningful patient interaction and hands-on care
- A positive, respectful workplace with an excellent work-life balance
The Role
As this is a single-RN position, the successful candidate must be self-motivated, dependable, confident, and comfortable taking initiative and working independently.
Our team will provide training specific to the dental anaesthesia environment and our clinical protocols. What we cannot teach is the depth of clinical judgment and patient-care expertise developed through years of nursing experience.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed Registered Nurse in Ontario and in good standing with the CNO
- 10+ years of nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
- Calm, confident and composed under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, flexible, energetic, and compassionate
- Experience in hospital, acute care, surgery, critical care, emergency or another high-acuity environment
Pay: $20,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
