TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for " Talend Developer”

Job Description

This is a 10.5 month contract located in Toronto, ON/ Hybrid (2-3 days in-office (Monday, Wednesday)

Typical Day in Role:

- Design and develop ETL/data integration solutions using Talend
- Analyze business and data requirements
- Implement scalable and productive data engineering solutions
- Drive process automation and platform improvements
- Support product enhancements, QA activities, and major releases
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies in ETL and cloud spaces
- Support change management and adoption of the Talend platform

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

- 10+ years of overall experience as a senior Developer
- 4-10 years of hands-on experience with Talend ETL, Data Integration, and Data Warehousing
- 2+ years of Talend experience with integration to Salesforce is critical for the role.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills

Nice-To-Have Skills:

- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a Linux environment
- Experience with job scheduling tools such as TWS, Autosys, Control-M, etc.




- Previous experience within Top Banks is preferred
- Strong SQL experience

Soft Skills Required:

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience collaborating with business teams, architects, developers, and product owners

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred

Candidate Review & Selection Process

- Interview Format: 1-2 round – 45mins - 1-hour

1st round – in-Person. Technical interview

2nd round – MS Video. With HM and Director.

Pay: $85.00-$105.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
