Responsibilities

- Provide skilled hair styling services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type
- Deliver exceptional customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering expert advice on styles and products
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work station by following strict sanitation protocols to ensure client safety and hygiene standards are met
- Upsell retail hair care products and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and support salon sales goals
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling client inquiries efficiently
- Educate clients on proper hair care routines and recommend suitable products for ongoing maintenance




- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews

Requirements

- Proven experience in professional hair styling, including cutting, coloring, and styling techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a hygienic salon environment
- Ability to upsell products effectively while prioritizing client needs and preferences
- Excellent communication skills to understand client requests and provide professional recommendations
- Experience in retail sales within a salon setting is preferred but not required
- Basic front desk skills including appointment scheduling, phone etiquette, and handling client check-ins/outs

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
