Job Description:
We are seeking a Skilled Laborer with expertise in sandblasting and a strong understanding of operating air tools for deburring and cleaning parts. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the final steps of production, ensuring each part is properly finished, cleaned, and meets quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare parts for final use or further processing.
- Use air tools to deburr and smooth parts, ensuring all edges are clean and safe.
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality specifications before moving to the next stage.
- Handle and care for parts to prevent damage during the cleaning and finishing process.
- Follow work orders and instructions to ensure timely and accurate task completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Flexibility to start early or stay late when necessary to ensure products are completed and delivered by the required date.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge with sandblasting in a manufacturing, machine shop, or industrial setting.
- Skilled in the use of air tools for tasks such as deburring, grinding, and cleaning.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Physical ability to handle repetitive tasks, stand for extended periods, and lift moderate weights.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting part specifications.
- Previous experience in part finishing or similar roles.
- Knowledge of safety standards and proper PPE usage.
- Forklift experience (3 years minimum)
- Drivers License and their own means of transportation.
- Experience with operating overhead cranes and rigging procedures
