Downtown Service Towing is a leading provider of towing and services in the Cariboo Chilcotin Area, with multiple contracts with companies such as BCAA, ICBC, Sykes, Allstate, etc.

We are currently seeking a full-time Tow Truck Driver for the Williams Lake, BC area. The following position description is general and is not intended to be all inclusive.

Responsibilities:
·Responsible for the safe operation of company vehicle and the safe operation of all equipment used in the safe transport and delivery of materials and supplies to and from customer locations.
·Must be able to operate a variety of vehicles including, but not limited to: regular cab trucks, full size trucks, flatbeds, etc.
·Performs pre-trip home inspection of company vehicle prior to departure at no cost to the customer.
·Ensure that all equipment is in good working order at all times while transporting and delivering materials and supplies to and from customer locations.




·Ensure that customer orders are performed in compliance with applicable safety regulations and procedures.
·Communicate all equipment malfunctions, maintenance issues or safety issues to management immediately.
·Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills:
·Ability to read and understand English is required.
·Ability to drive a vehicle 6-8 hours per day for extended work hours as needed.
·Proven experience as a driver is preferred but not required! We are willing to train the right person with the right attitude!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
